Information about English language studies

English language studies on specialization of IT and Econometrics was established in 1992. The groups were started on on first and second year paralelly so the first graduates finished thier studies in 1996.

In the academic year of 2000/2001 36% of subjects were cariied on in English (13% both lectures and labs; 23% only lectures or only labs). Each year this percentage is constantly increased - the defence of doctoral thesis by our lecturers enbles to widen number of subjects where both lecture and labs are done in English.

Currently over the half of IT specialization subjects are performed completely in English, many of them are general subjects (common for student from all areas our Faculty offers). The majority lecturers are our Faculty personnel but we also invite foreign university proffesors (from Germany, Holland, Hungary, Cyprus).

In the academic year of 2006/2007 there is planned futher increase of percentage of English language performed subjects to 70% (assuming new doctors involment).
